LITTLE ROCK, Ark — Today, Congressman French Hill filed for re-election. Congressman Hill, a ninth-generation Arkansan and a longtime Arkansas business leader, is seeking his third term representing Arkansas’s Second District in the United States Congress. Immediately after filing, Congressman Hill released the following statement:

“Today marks the beginning of an important campaign cycle in Arkansas. Republicans in Congress are succeeding in strengthening our national security, improving the economy by creating more jobs and better wages for American workers and their families, and it is vital we maintain our majorities in the House and Senate. Reverting back to the failed policies of a Nancy Pelosi controlled Congress would ultimately mean higher taxes, a lessened emphasis on national security, an expanding government, and a weakened economy for the American people. Over the duration of this campaign, I will continue to work as a sensible conservative leader who values the role of limited government, economic independence and prosperity for our citizens, and safety for our families.”
